Super easy chocolate pear charlotte

A chocolate pear charlotte sounds like a delicious and elegant dessert, but you can make it super easy! Here’s a simple recipe that uses minimal ingredients and still delivers on taste.

Easy Chocolate Pear Charlotte
Ingredients:

2 large pears (preferably ripe but firm)
200g (7 oz) dark chocolate (at least 60% cocoa)
150ml (½ cup) heavy cream
12-16 ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits)
2 tbsp butter (optional, for greasing)
1 tbsp sugar (optional, if your pears are a bit tart)
A pinch of sea salt (optional, enhances chocolate flavor)
Cocoa powder or grated chocolate (for decoration)
Instructions:

Prepare the Pears:

Peel, core, and slice the pears into thin slices or small cubes.
In a medium skillet, melt the butter (if using) over medium heat and add the pear slices. If your pears are a bit tart, sprinkle them with sugar.
Cook for 5-7 minutes until the pears are soft but still holding their shape. You want them just tender, not mushy. Set aside to cool.
Make the Chocolate Ganache:

In a heatproof bowl, break the dark chocolate into pieces.
In a saucepan, heat the cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer (don’t let it boil).
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Stir until smooth and glossy. Optionally, add a pinch of sea salt for extra flavor.
Assemble the Charlotte:
