If you’re looking for a way to make this classic treat without the hassle of the oven, this Crockpot Christmas Crack recipe is your answer! It’s an effortless, one-pot wonder that’s sure to become a holiday favorite. With its combination of rich chocolate, smooth caramel, and the perfect crunch, this dessert will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.

Ingredients:
1 bag (16 oz) of pretzels (mini pretzels or pretzel sticks)
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: Holiday sprinkles, crushed nuts (like pecans or almonds), or M&M’s for added flair
Directions:
Prepare the Crockpot: Line the inside of your Crockpot (slow cooker) with parchment paper or use a non-stick spray for easy cleanup.

Layer the Pretzels: Spread the mini pretzels evenly across the bottom of the Crockpot. Make sure the pretzels are tightly packed together, as they’ll act as the base for the other ingredients.

Make the Caramel Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the brown sugar and continue stirring until the mixture is smooth and begins to bubble. Allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes, then remove it from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the Caramel Over the Pretzels: Carefully pour the caramel mixture over the pretzels in the Crockpot, ensuring they are all coated. Gently stir to combine, but be careful not to break the pretzels.

Cook on Low: Set your Crockpot to cook on low heat for about 1 hour. Stir the mixture every 20 minutes to prevent burning and ensure the caramel melts evenly.

Add the Chocolate: After 1 hour, sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips over the caramel-covered pretzels. Do not stir yet. Put the lid back on the Crockpot and let it sit for another 10-15 minutes, allowing the chocolate to melt.

Mix the Chocolates: Once the chocolate chips have softened, gently stir everything together to coat the pretzels in a smooth chocolate coating. If desired, top with holiday sprinkles, crushed nuts, or M&M’s for extra texture and festive fun.

Cool and Set: Transfer the mixture to a parchment-lined baking sheet or spread it out in a large dish to cool. Once the treat has cooled completely, break it into pieces and serve!
