It’s a rainy Sunday afternoon, and there’s something so comforting about the slow cooker working its magic while you get other things done around the house. One of my absolute favorite slow cooker treats is this Chocolate Chip Pie. It’s essentially like a giant, gooey chocolate chip cookie transformed into a pie. What makes this dish even more special is that it’s incredibly easy to prepare. You just throw everything into the slow cooker and let it do its thing. It’s the perfect dessert for family gatherings or just a cozy night in when you’re craving something sweet.
This pie is a star all on its own, but if you want to take it up a notch, try serving it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The cold creaminess of the ice cream pairs perfectly with the warm, gooey pie. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce wouldn’t hurt either. A nice cup of coffee or a glass of milk on the side makes this dessert truly complete and satisfying.
