A wife in bed with her lover heard her husband’s key.
“Stay,” she said.
“He’s so drunk he won’t notice.”
The husband joined her, but a few minutes later, he saw six feet sticking out of the bed. He turned to her:
“There are six feet in this bed. There should only be four. What’s going on?”
“You miscounted because you’re drunk,” she said.
Get out of bed and try again. You can see better from there.
The husband climbed out and counted.
“One, two, three, four. You’re right,” he said.
