Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.
Stir in the soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked rice to the skillet, mixing well to combine all the ingredients.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the rice to absorb the flavors.
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
