Whenever my grandma cooked this, it became an unwritten rule that everyone should save room for seconds

1. Season the all-purpose flour and gently coat the cubes of chuck steak. In a skillet, brown the coated steak with a little oil. You want the full taste effect, so do this.
2. Melt the butter in an other pan. Chop some garlic and add some onions. Make sure to cook the onions until they turn translucent.
3. Add 1 tablespoon of plain flour, beef bouillon powder, Italian seasoning, sauces, and beef stock to the slow cooker. Stir in the sauces. Saute the onions and garlic in the skillet with the browned meat.
Turn the heat up to high and cook, covered, for five hours. If you want a thicker sauce, add 1 tablespoon of brown onion gravy powder towards the end of the cooking time; the amount you use depends on your preference.
Section 5, “Dumlings” The dumplings should be started when 45 minutes are left. Toss together the self-rising flour and 1 tablespoon of butter in a bowl. Combine with milk and beaten egg. Use a fork to combine the ingredients. After that, give the dough a couple of minutes of hand kneading. Roll the dough into little balls with your hands until they are about one inch in diameter. Immerse the dough balls in the gravy-covered slow cooker. Stir occasionally for another 30–40 minutes.
