Fried Oreos Cream Cookies and Cheesecake

Ingredients (Quantities) :

For the cheesecake filling:
Cream Cheese : 8 oz (softened)
Powdered sugar : ½ cup
Vanilla extract : 1 teaspoon
Crushed Oreo cookies : ½ cup (plus extra for garnish)
For the fried Oreos:

Oreos : 12 biscuits
All-purpose flour : 1 cup
Baking powder : 1 teaspoon
Granulated sugar : 2 tablespoons
Milk : ¾ cup
Egg : 1 large
Vanilla extract : 1 teaspoon
Oil : for frying (vegetable or rapeseed)
To serve:

Icing sugar : for sprinkling
Chocolate sauce : for drizzling (optional)
Optional ingredients :
Mini chocolate chips : ¼ cup (for more texture in the filling)
Whipped cream : to serve
Instructions :

1. Prepare the cheesecake filling :
In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in crushed Oreo cookies. Let mixture chill in refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
2. Stuff the Oreos :

Take one Oreo cookie and gently swirl it around. Use a small spoon or your fingers to spoon about 1 teaspoon of cheesecake filling onto the creamy side of the Oreo. Place the other half of the cookie on top and press gently to seal. Repeat with all of the Oreos.
3. Prepare the dough :
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, milk, egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
4. Heat the oil :

In a deep skillet or pot, heat about 2 inches of oil to 350°F (175°C).
