2 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
For the Chocolate Ganache Filling:
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
For the Chocolate Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
For Decoration:
Assorted chocolate bars, chopped
Mini chocolate chips
Chocolate shavings or curls
Instructions:
1️⃣ Bake the Cake Layers: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 8-inch round cake pans. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla, and mix until smooth. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.
